Our journey began on April 14, 2010, with the inauguration of our kindergarten school. The name "Sahasras" was thoughtfully chosen to reflect our broader vision: to grow beyond early childhood education and expand into a higher secondary school. From day one, our founding principle was to create a secure and hygienic space for holistic development, complemented by a caring daycare facility that truly supports families.
In 2013, Sahasras Educational Trust was officially registered, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to education and community service.
Our dedication extends far beyond the classroom walls. Since its registration, Sahasras Educational Trust has actively invested in initiatives that benefit both our community and the environment, demonstrating our deep-rooted values:
For our first 10 years, our focus remained steadfast on perfecting our kindergarten program. During this period, our dedicated team worked tirelessly, laying the groundwork for a full-fledged school. In 2020, we took a significant step forward by introducing Grade 1, and since then, we've consistently expanded, adding one grade level each year. Today, we are proud to be successfully running classes up to Grade 5.
Building on our solid foundation and unwavering commitment, Sahasras School is now progressing towards becoming a CBSE school by 2026. We've already secured the necessary land in Medavakkam, Chennai, and construction is anticipated to begin by August. This next chapter will allow us to offer an even more comprehensive educational experience, continuing our legacy of excellence.
